In 2018, the invention patent "A Strain of Paecilomyces cicadae and Its Application" was awarded the 20th China Patent Gold Award (Patent No.: ZL201110120603.1).

In 2020, the fruiting bodies of Chanhua (Cordyceps cicadae) (artificially cultivated) were officially approved by the National Health Commission as a Novel Food Ingredient, making it the third Cordyceps-type novel food ingredient after Cordyceps militaris and Cordyceps guangdongensis, opening up broad market space for the functional food and health food businesses.

In 2021, the Chanhua (Cordyceps cicadae) strain was granted national "New Plant Variety" protection with a protection period of 15 years (according to the revised Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of New Plant Varieties in 2025, the variety protection period was extended from 15 to 20 years), Certificate No.: No. 2021020039.

In 2019, the Cordyseum and the BioAsia Life Science Research Institute were recognized as a "Zhejiang Provincial Popular Science Education Base", becoming an important provincial platform for science education that showcases the scientific wonders and industrial applications of Cordyceps fungi to the public.
